She co-founded Index; a festival to coincide with Yorkshire Sculpture International 2019, which commissioned diverse artist-led projects across Leeds- Wakefield with 300 artists. Past projects include curating Manchester’s first exhibition of the Cosgrove Hall Films Archive and advising BLANK_ at University Centre Leeds.

As a visiting lecturer at Northern Universities, she enjoys sharing; how to work studio visits, working with galleries and developing an environmentally sustainable curatorial practice.

Chat to me in Spanish/Spanglish too (y por supuesto, quiero saber la empanada receta de tu abuela). Or catch me hanging around on a climbing wall in South Leeds.

huge feeling of accessibility and encouragement, warmth and reflection... holding the space for us in such a sensitive and caring manner... commitment, academic & technical input... through the rigour and understanding of co-production in programme development... generously reflective tone... your dedication to the cause has been exemplary and with your grace, commitment to quality, .... I just wish it was just as helpful in art schools!
I'm determined to make something of myself as an Artist not just for my personal goals but also in a hope that it could open doors for others... such people are under represented or just written off; the only way to bring about change is to be an active participant in making it happen.
